Job summary

MDS Staffing in Minnesota seeks a Traffic Engineer to support transportation projects focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role covers traffic operations, modeling, signing and striping, signal and lighting design, and temporary traffic control planning.

You will work collaboratively with a team, apply applicable laws and standards, and help grow with the company. A PE license in Minnesota and PTOE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) with Minnesota PE licensure.

MDS is seeking a Traffic Engineer to play an essential role in the successful completion of transportation projects while ensuring they are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to work on traffic operations and modeling, safety analysis, multi-modal planning/implementation, signing and striping plans, signal and lighting design, temporary traffic control plans, and many other tasks.
