Job summary

Stonebrooke Engineering, Inc. in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our office and work with multi-disciplinary teams on transportation projects for state, local government, and private clients.

The role focuses on traffic operations, modeling, safety analysis, multi-modal planning, and signing/striping, with opportunities to contribute to signal/lighting design and temporary traffic control plans.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Experience in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software.

  • Progressive traffic engineering related experience.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field) with Professional Engineer licensure (PE) in Minnesota.
  • Certification as a PTOE.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to join the firm in our Burnsville, MN office to work with multi-disciplinary teams on State, Local Government, and private projects, primarily in the transportation arena.

Our Traffic Engineers play an essential role in the successful completion of transportation projects while ensuring they are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. They have the skills and experience necessary to work on traffic operations and modeling, safety analysis, multi-modal planning/implementation, signing and striping plans, signal and lighting design, temporary traffic control plans, and many other tasks.

Responsibilities may include:
