Position Details

• Experience: 2-4 years
• Salary Range: $83,000 - $96,000
• Location: Overland Park, KS
• Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with routine traffic engineering tasks, including data collection, analysis, and modeling.
2. Create traffic plans and assist in developing signal timing and coordination.
3. Perform civil design calculations, review drawings, and collaborate with project teams.
4. Research code issues and engage with clients and officials as needed.
5. Write technical reports and contribute to project documentation.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroStation (or willingness to learn)
• Strong knowledge of transportation and traffic engineering principles
• Experience with traffic analysis, civil design, and software tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to perform traffic impact studies and understand civil design geometries
