AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Engineer in Houston, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support a variety of engineering, planning, and data analysis tasks for technology, transportation, and traffic applications.
• Solve multimodal transportation problems involving emerging technologies in the transportation industry (CAV, EV, or TNC).
• Analyze a wide range of transportation data and provide assistance with technical analyses, feasibility studies, and other transportation reports or memorandums.
• Conduct traffic operations, simulations and capacity analysis for intersections, and corridors.
• Analyze crash data to identify crash patterns, probable causes, and develop recommendations to address them.
• Assist in tasks related to signal retiming, traffic impact studies, corridor planning studies, existing and future predictive safety studies.
• Perform traffic simulation using software such as Synchro, TransModeler, and VISSIM.
• Create engineering designs using software such as Microstation, SignCAD, AutoTURN, and AGI32.
• Perform data collection, processing, and analysis using software such as PowerBI, Tableau, ArcGIS, Python, R, and Excel.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
• Prepare technical reports and deliver effective presentations.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a traffic or transportation engineering-related occupation.

16. Signal retiming, corridor studies, existing and future predictive safety studies.
