Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) invites Civil Engineering students (Junior/Senior) to join a 12-week Traffic Engineer Internship. Gain hands-on experience across transportation, design, and planning disciplines, working on roadway and bridge projects, drainage, and utility coordination under senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Academic Junior or Senior preferred.
• Coursework includes Transportation/Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, and/or Highway Design.
• Experience with Traffic Analysis tools such as HCS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Bentley Software is a plus.
• Exposure to ArcGIS, MicroStation, and related tools is beneficial.
• A proactive, communicative team player with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering reports and studies, including Traffic Impact Analyses and signal warrant analyses.
• Perform traffic volume development calculations in Excel.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to develop analysis exhibits and drawings under supervision.
• Utilize Synchro, HCS, Sidra, and Vistro for traffic analyses models.
• Prepare GIS maps for reports and studies and support data collection.
