DRMP is seeking a Traffic Design Engineer to work on DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects in a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities include signing and pavement markings, signalization, lighting, and ITS plans, along with traffic signal analysis using Synchro.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of experience; PE registration preferred or obtainable. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential in meeting client deadlines.
As a Traffic Design Engineer, your primary focus will pertain to DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects. Your engineering assignments may include signal and intelligent transportation systems design, Advanced Traffic Management System operations, Active Arterial Management, signal retiming studies, safety studies, signing, pavement marking, work zone traffic control, operational analyses for isolated intersections, complex arterial networks, and freeways.
