Job summary

Traffic Management is hiring a Flagger/Traffic Controller to ensure road safety in busy work zones. You will learn to close roads with cones and barricades and perform two-way flagging to guide traffic.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, delivering signs, and completing reports. Must have a valid driver’s license for 2 years, pass a THC-inclusive drug test, and be able to work nights and weekends when on call.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license for 2 years with a clear MVR.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand 6–12 hours per day.
• Must pass a drug test that includes THC testing.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Close off roads using cones and barricades while ensuring safety.
• Perform two-way flagging using stop/slow signs to manage traffic.
• Load trucks and deliver/pick-up barricades, signs and traffic-control gear.
• Complete reports and other duties as assigned.

In this job, you will learn how to close off a road using cones/ barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging. Two-way flagging is using a stop & slow sign to allow the traffic to know when they can pass work zones safely. You will also be responsible for loading trucks and delivering/Picking-up barricades, signs & Traffic Control equipment and complete reports and other duties as necessary.Requirements:Must have a valid driver’s license for 2 Years and a clear motor vehicle record.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Must be available during business hours and able to work nights/ weekends when on-call schedule.Able to lift 50lbs and stand on your feet for 6-12 hours per day.Decent Communication Skills?
