Barricades Unlimited is seeking a Traffic Control Tech I at our Lubbock location. The role supports safe street and worksite operations, requiring attentiveness to directions, compliance with safety rules, and reliable performance in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining orderly worksites. The position entails long hours and potential weekend shifts, with emphasis on quality and efficiency in all tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Texas driver’s license in good standing required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Arrive at the warehouse and be prepared to work at the beginning of the shift.
Follow work instructions to ensure consistent service and quality.
Recommend measures to improve efficiency, service quality, product quality, and safety.
Maintain all work areas, vehicles and sites in a neat and orderly fashion.
Load and unload materials and equipment on site.
Notify supervisor of any safety or quality concerns.
Keep supervisor informed on ongoing activities.
Demonstrate initiative and make decisions based on facts.
Represent the company professionally and uphold its values.
Maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues.
Suggest ways to perform duties more effectively.
Perform duties in compliance with regulatory bodies such as Texas DOT.
