Job summary

Qualifications

Understanding of MUTCD codes and specifications.
Working knowledge of asphalt and concrete pavement.
Basic knowledge of computer programs, smart levels, and digital measuring devices.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs basic installations and setups under direction for temporary traffic control at work sites.
Maintains routine maintenance tasks and assists with reflectivity testing and schedule maintenance for traffic control devices.
Inputs corrective traffic sign repairs in Cartegraph.
Maintains active regulatory and non-regulatory sign inventory.
On-call after hours for regulatory traffic sign repair or replacement.
Operates equipment to remove obstructions affecting sign visibility.
Performs other duties as assigned.
