This is an entry-level position with in-house training to become a Traffic Control Technician/Flagger. Your role involves setting up traffic control for construction sites to ensure safety for workers, drivers, and pedestrians. You will work outdoors, exposed to weather conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Transport goods, materials, and equipment safely and timely.
• Complete Temporary Traffic Control set-ups, take-downs, maintenance, and flagging to secure work zones.

Applicants must have three (3) years of driving experience and a clean driving record (verification via insurance check).

Tasks and Duties:

• Check dispatch sheet, plans, route, and gather materials each morning.
• Perform traffic control and flagging activities, follow safety rules, place signs, barricades, cones, and control traffic flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site, secure tools and equipment daily.
• Provide clear directions and safety instructions, communicate effectively verbally and non-verbally.
• Remain aware of surroundings to identify hazards and minimize risks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Load/unload trucks, perform preventative vehicle maintenance, and keep vehicles clean.
• Document work hours, miles, and meals; retain fuel receipts.
• Complete pre/post vehicle checklists timely and accurately.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.

All drivers must possess a current CA Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record.
