Job summary

FC Traffic Control is seeking motivated technicians for full-time, outdoors work in Fort Worth, TX. You will help keep projects on track, set up traffic control zones, and operate hand and power tools while ensuring safety for workers and the public.

You must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs, working nights and weekends, and obtaining a flagger certification if not already certified. This role offers a hands-on environment with a strong team culture and opportunities to grow with

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leads to keep projects on track.
• Set up cones, signs, and posts to create safe work zones.
• Measure layouts with accuracy and maintain notes for accuracy.
• Maintain and use hand and power tools as required.
• Set up and clean up sites at the start and end of shifts.
• Direct traffic safely to protect workers and drivers.

• Be the Backbone: Assist crew leads with everything needed to keep projects on track.

• Measure Like a Pro: Mark layouts with precision and make sure every detail is dialed in.


• Own the Tools: Prep, maintain, and handle tools like a boss — your gear is your pride.


• Site Setup & Cleanup: Dig, erect, organize, and tidy up. Every job starts and ends with you.


• Hands-On Action: Use a range of hand and power tools to tackle daily tasks like a pro.


• Control the Flow: Safely direct traffic and keep drivers and workers out of harm's way.


• Roll Out in Style: Hit the road in company vehicles and take calls like a field-ready problem solver.

Other Requirements

• Flagger Certification (Preferred) if not, we will get you certified!

The Non-Negotiables

• Available nights and weekends when duty calls.


• Pass a background check


• At least 19 years of age


• Valid drivers license for a minimum of 3 years
