Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Controller to maintain safe, organized traffic flow at job sites. You will direct vehicles and pedestrians using hand signals, cones, and signage, and coordinate detours during construction.

Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening, hold an ATTSA flagger certification or be willing to test, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to work in all weather, standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Hold ATTSA flagger certification or be willing to take test immediately.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Have reliable communication to receive work schedule.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain.
• Be able to stand throughout your shift; hand and arm movement required.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Traffic control experience recommended.

Responsabilités

• Maintain organized, clean and safe work environment.
• Direct traffic flow using signals, signs, cones, or devices to regulate traffic.
• Set up and maintain road signs, barricades and barriers visible to drivers and pedestrians.
• Coordinate traffic flow during events, construction or emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Safeguard pedestrians and guide them to designated crosswalks.
