The role requires a pre-employment drug screen, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Prior traffic control experience is recommended.

• Direct traffic and manage flow using hand signals, flags, cones, or devices.
• Maintain organized, safe work environment and ensure punctual attendance.
• Set up and maintain road signs, barricades, cones, and barriers.
• Coordinate detours and alternate routes during events or emergencies.
• Monitor sign visibility and ensure workers are protected in construction zones.
• Stay informed about local traffic regulations and road closures.
• Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations while directing pedestrians and drivers.
