Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor in York, PA to design, set up, and supervise temporary traffic control in work zones. You will operate trucks, monitor site safety, and lead crews installing signs, cones, and barriers.

This non-exempt role requires 2+ years in traffic control, ATSSA TCS intermediate training, and ability to travel statewide; rotating on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in traffic control.
• 4,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must complete ATSSA TCS intermediate training.
• Must pass background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• Must be able to read plans and implement traffic control plans.
• Ability to travel statewide, with overnight stays.
• Rotating on-call schedule may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects.
• Place and maintain temporary construction signs and variable message boards.
• Set up traffic cones and other safety devices in work areas.
• Monitor work zone and ensure equipment is properly positioned.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift start/end.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
