Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor to design, set up, and maintain temporary traffic control in work zones in York, PA. You will supervise crews, operate MOT/TMA vehicles, and ensure safety and compliance on site.

Requirements include 2+ years in traffic control, ATSSA TCS intermediate training, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 70 pounds, and willingness to travel statewide with rotating on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience; 4,000 field hours preferred.
• ATSSA TCS intermediate training completed.
• Able to pass background and drug tests and meet DOT requirements.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and handling equipment.
• Able to read and interpret traffic control plans and road signs.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to projects and work sites.
• Place and manage temporary traffic control devices in work zones.
• Set up signs, cones, and arrow boards as required.
• Monitor the work zone and ensure equipment stays in place.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Travel statewide and work nights/weekends as project demands.
