Job summary

Reeves Construction Company in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Laborer / Traffic Control Specialist focused on safety and accurate traffic control operations on project sites.

The role involves erecting and maintaining traffic control devices per MUTCD, keeping equipment clean and ready, following instructions, and exercising good judgment with minimal supervision. Candidates must have transportation, a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a DOT physical, and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Provide own transportation to and from work.
• Driving license with driving record that meets safety guidelines to operate a company vehicle (required).
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical for a DOT Medical card (required).
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge of the requirements of erecting and maintaining traffic control signs and other devices as prescribed in the MUTCD.
• Must keep equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly at all times on the projects.
• Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, setting up and removing traffic control devices, but also must be able to use good judgement in decision making and be able to work without direct supervision.
• Must maintain a good attitude and be polite at all times to motorists.
• Must have the ability to work safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.
• Must perform other general labor duties as instructed by supervisor.
