Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Driver/Laborer to support public works projects with prevailing wage requirements. The role involves setting up lane closures, directing traffic, and transporting safety products between job sites, with an emphasis on safety and compliance.

Eligible candidates have a valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and the ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to pass background check and motor vehicle record checks.
• Ability to pass drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear required safety gear and comply with safety rules.
• Ability to read plans and implement traffic control plans.
• Willing to travel with overnight stays and ability to work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to worksites to protect workers and zones.
• Set up and take down lane closures and traffic control devices.
• Place traffic signs, cones and boards in work areas.
• Monitor the work zone and maintain equipment and signs.
