Job summary

Ragle Inc. in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dedicated Traffic Control Laborer to join our growing team. You will help manage traffic flow at construction sites, place signs and signals, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure worker and driver safety.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Overtime is available based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving license.
• Must be able to pass background and drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work day, night, or weekend shift.
• Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Prior traffic control experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with supervisor.
• Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
• Directs movement of traffic through site using sign, hand, and flag signals.
• Warns workers when traffic signals are not followed to prevent accidents.
• Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
• Records license numbers of traffic control violators for police.

Pay:

$18.00-21.00/hr depending on experience.

Location:

Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. Location depends on project needs

Hours:

Nights, weekends, days. Must be flexible to work any shift. Overtime available.

Job Description:

• Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with superior.
• Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
• Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
• Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers.
• Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
• Records license number of traffic control violators for police.
• Gives hand marker to last driver in line up of one-way traffic for Flagger at opposite end of site, signaling clearance for reverse flow of traffic
