ADA Traffic Control is a family-run company providing traffic control services in Vermont and surrounding states. The Traffic Control Flagger position is based in Colchester, VT, offering hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, implementing daily traffic plans, and ensuring safety for workers and the public. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and various employee incentives.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable vehicle.
• Clean 5 year MVR.
• Ability to travel to meet points.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with contractors on job site.
• Conduct daily traffic plans.
• Set up and tear down of Workzone equipment.
• Ensure personal safety, and safety of contractors, co-workers and the public.
• Follow training and safety protocols.
• Be aware of surroundings to spot hazards.
• Work under pressure and respond to potential danger.
• Submit paperwork to proper channels.
