Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Flaggers to direct traffic around active work zones and keep crews and the public safe. The role involves setting up traffic control devices, coordinating with teams, and maintaining clear safety practices while working outdoors in varying weather.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid flagger certification. Weekend and night shifts may be required, and a valid driver’s license is often preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Flagger certification (e.g., ATSSA, ANSI) preferred.
• Previous experience in traffic control or construction flagging is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain temporary traffic control devices according to MUTCD standards and company procedures.
• Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely and efficiently around construction sites using hand signals and flag paddles.
• Communicate effectively with crews, operators, and other flaggers to coordinate traffic movements.
• Monitor traffic patterns and anticipate hazards to prevent accidents.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.
