Job summary

ADA Traffic Control in Kingston, NY seeks a Traffic Control Flagger to manage work zone traffic and support contractor crews year round. Training will be provided to ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols; a flexible schedule is expected with some weekend work and potential travel to varied locations.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have reliable vehicle.
Clean 5 year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Ability to travel to meet point.
Ability to work outdoors.
Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 25 lbs.
Truck driving experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

Communicate with contractors on job sites.
Conduct daily traffic plans.
Set up and tear down Workzone equipment.
Ensure personal safety and safety of others.
Follow training and safety protocols.
Be aware of surroundings to spot hazards.
Work under pressure and respond to potential danger.
Submit paperwork to proper channels.
