GLISS is seeking certified flaggers to join our team across the Portland Metro area. This outdoor, safety-focused role offers starting pay of $20 per hour and opportunities for certification on-site with a required fee. Great for reliable individuals who value safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include directing traffic, setting up control zones, and maintaining PPE and safety standards on busy job sites. Day and night shifts available with flexible assignments throughout the Portland area.

Qualifications

• Current flagger certification preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Must have all required safety gear and PPE.
• Must be dependable and arrive on time.
• Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong communication and attention to safety.

CERTIFIED FLAGGER | $20/HR STARTING PAY | PORTLAND METRO AREA, OR

GLISS is hiring certified flaggers to join our team and work on job sites throughout the Portland Metro area! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are reliable, safety-focused, and interested in working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. Certified flaggers are encouraged to apply. For those who are not currently certified, certification may be available with a required fee.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Control traffic flow and ensure safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones
• Set up and maintain traffic control areas according to safety guidelines
• Use hand signals, signs, and communication devices to direct traffic
• Communicate with construction crews and supervisors to maintain a safe work environment
• Monitor work zones and report any safety concerns
• Follow all traffic control and job site safety procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Schedule Details:

• Day shift available
• Night shifts available depending on job needs
• Flexible assignments throughout the Portland Metro area
