Job summary

HireQuest Direct Staffing Agency is urgently seeking Certified Traffic Control Flagger to operate at diverse job sites across Vancouver, WA and Oregon. You will direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with TCS and crews to protect workers and the public.

HireQuest Direct Staffing Agency is actively & urgently hiring Certified Traffic Control Flaggers for ongoing and upcoming projects throughout King County.

Position Details

• Position: Certified Traffic Control Flagger
• Location: Various job sites throughout Vancouver, WA and Oregon State
• Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based with ongoing opportunities
• Schedule: Primarily day shifts (hours vary based on project needs)
• Pay: $22.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through construction and work zones
• Protect workers, motorists, and the public by following established traffic control procedures
• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices as directed
• Communicate effectively with Traffic Control Supervisors (TCS), crews, and the public
• Follow all company, customer, and Oregon safety regulations
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately

Minimum Qualifications

• Current WA or OR Flagger Certification (required)
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Reliable personal vehicle with the ability to travel to various job sites
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
