Job summary

AWP Safety, based in the United States, is seeking Protectors to join our traffic safety team in Pickerington, OH. No experience or degree is required; we train you, support you, and help you build a career.

Your daily work includes setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and following safety rules. You may stand 8 to 12 hours, outdoors year‑round, with shifts including nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Stand, walk and work outside for long periods
• Lift 40-50 pounds
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather
• Flexible schedule; arrive on time for every shift
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test
• Stay alert around moving traffic and follow safety rules
• Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect

Responsibilities

• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe


• Working outside all year, in all weather


• Shifts may change based on job needs: Some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required


• You may stand or walk8 to 12 hours per shift


• We give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safety boots that go above the ankle.

Additional Information

Pay:

• Pay: $19.50- $20.25 per hour
