Job summary

ADA Traffic Control is hiring a Traffic Control Flagger to manage traffic control in work zones year round. The starting pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and year-round work in active work zones.

ADA will provide training to ensure regulations and procedures are followed. As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will communicate with contractors, help set up and tear down work zone equipment, and uphold safety for yourself, contractors, co-workers, and the public.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Reliable vehicle
• Clean 5 year MVR
• Ability to travel to meet point
• Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Communicate with contractors on the job site
• Conduct daily traffic plans
• Set up and tear down Workzone equipment
• Prioritize personal and public safety and follow safety protocols
• Maintain clear and professional communication with contractors and co-workers
• Submit paperwork to proper channels

Responsibilities

• Responsible for communicating with contractors on job site
• Conducting daily traffic plans
• Setup and tear down of appropriate Workzone equipment
• Responsible for personal safety, and safety of contractors, co-workers and general public.
• Must be able to follow training and uphold safety protocols.
• Aware and vigilant of surroundings to spot safety hazards.
• Must be able to work under pressure and react to potential danger in an urgent manner.
• Clear and professional communication with contractors, co-workers and general public.
• Must be able to submit paperwork to proper channels.
