Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Traffic Control Flaggers perform traffic control duties, maintain safe work zones, and follow safety rules including monitoring signs, barricades, traffic cones, and warning devices. They must communicate positively with the public and co-workers, relaying traffic signals to ensure safety. The company provides DOT certification training and on-the-job training to develop skills for advancement into roles such as laborer or equipment operator. This is a full-time seasonal position (May-October), requiring overtime and some Saturdays, with local and regional travel opportunities.
