Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is seeking Protectors to join our traffic management team. You will set up cones, signs and barricades at job sites, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety rules learned in training.

You will work outside in all weather, with shifts that may include nights, weekends or emergencies. Responsibilities include coordinating with crew and supervisor, maintaining equipment, and staying alert around moving traffic.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather
• Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shift
• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test (safety sensitive)
• Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules all the time
• Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect

We give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safetyboots that go above the ankle.

• Pay:$19.50–$20.25 per hour
