Job Opportunity: Traffic Controller

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips, following ATSSA and DOT regulations.
• Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.
• Drive the company vehicle safely to and from job sites.
• Complete all paperwork promptly.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE according to Wright policies.
• Read and understand the Wright safety manual and employee handbook.
• Report directly to a Field Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable communication for scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, tolerating heat, cold, and rain.
• Pass a drug screening prior to employment and remain drug-free.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift, with required hand and arm movements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of performing flagging duties.
