Job summary

City Rise Utility is seeking a Dispatcher in Woodbridge, CA to schedule daily traffic control jobs and allocate crews based on site needs and skillsets.

The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Full-time exempt status with opportunities in a growing company offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a dispatch scheduling role or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in traffic control or a closely related industry preferred.
• ATSSA TCT (Traffic Control Technician) or TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor) certifications preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Telematics platforms, Salesforce, and scheduling software.
• Valid California Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails promptly and professionally.
• Accurately record and input job orders into the dispatch scheduling system.
• Schedule and dispatch traffic control employees based on experience, jobsite requirements, and utilization metrics.
• Conduct jobsite assessments to determine job classification and resource requirements.
• Review traffic control plans and permits to ensure accurate crew deployment.
• Monitor active jobsites and follow up to ensure accuracy and completion.
