Job summary

City Rise Utility Traffic Control is seeking a Dispatcher in Woodbridge, CA. This full-time role reports to the Operations Manager and coordinates daily traffic control jobs, aligning crews with jobsite needs to ensure timely and professional service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in dispatch and traffic control, strong scheduling skills, and proficiency with Office and scheduling software. CDL and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a dispatch scheduling role or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in traffic control or a closely related industry preferred.
• Experience interpreting and working with traffic control plans is preferred.
• ATSSA TCT/TCS certifications preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails promptly and professionally.
• Accurately record and input job orders into the dispatch scheduling system.
• Schedule and dispatch traffic control employees based on experience, location, and utilization metrics.
• Conduct jobsite assessments to determine job classification and resource requirements.
• Review traffic control plans and permits to ensure accurate crew deployment.
• Monitor active jobsites and follow up to ensure accuracy and completion.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resource readiness.
• Communicate customer requirements and jobsite details to crew for alignment.
• Reconcile scheduled orders daily to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Provide after-hours dispatch coverage on a rotating basis.
• Support a positive, performance-driven culture.
