Job summary

Webber seeks a construction traffic control assistant to support the Foreman and skilled craft workers on outdoor sites in Houston. You will help with traffic control devices, assist in setting up signs, and operate tools under supervision.

The role demands physical stamina, adherence to safety policies, and teamwork to meet project goals. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related traffic control experience; high school diploma not required.

Qualifications

• Move through construction sites and perform traffic control duties.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities.
• Assist Foreman and crew with duties as required.
• Work in outdoor conditions including heat, cold, and rain.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, erects and maintains temporary traffic control devices, including arrow boards, signs, barricades, channelizing devices, barrels and all message boards.
• May operate a truck during traffic control operations.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Uses power tools and air tools.
• When not performing the above essential duties and responsibilities, may assist in other operations as designated by the supervisor.
