The Traffic Control Assistant role supports safe and efficient traffic flow around construction zones, events, or road maintenance sites. Ideal candidates are alert, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions with a strong focus on public and crew safety.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Must have 0 or more DMV driving points with a valid Virginia Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Truck driver experience with large trucks (18' to 24') non-CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safe work zones using the proper equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the safety of all.
• Manage traffic flow effectively.
