Job summary

Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least one year clerical experience, and basic knowledge of NYC traffic rules. Remote work up to two days weekly is permitted; 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• A four-year high school diploma or equivalent approved by a state department of education or recognized accrediting organization.
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.
• Keyboard familiarity with a typing speed of at least 100 keystrokes (20 words) per minute.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of NYC traffic rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, accept, or reject traffic violations using the automated camera enforcement system.
• Inspect camera footage for red-light, bus lane, MTA bus-mounted, fixed speed, and mobile speed violations.
• Verify vehicle descriptions, license plates, and registrations.
• Review bus lane videos to distinguish illegal use from legitimate pickup/drop-off.
• Perform quality assurance on printed Notices of Liability.
• Follow all procedures, SOPs, and Department of Transportation policies.
