Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking an entry-level Traffic Administration professional for our Indianapolis distribution center at 5851 Guion Rd. The role supports the Transportation department by monitoring daily operations, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely load movements.

Shift is full-time, Mon-Fri with 8:00am–4:30pm hours, with potential schedule flexibility after onboarding. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid driver's license, proficient with Microsoft Office, strong organization, and

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 4:30pm

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Traffic Administration, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Transportation department. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 5851 Guion Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46254. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring the effective and efficient daily operations of the Traffic department

• Assisting with scheduling drivers and securing loads

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
