Job summary

Old Mission in Chicago is offering an internship for students to work alongside software engineers building trading applications and tools in C++, Python, and TypeScript. You'll gain hands-on experience contributing to real project work that supports our market initiatives.

You'll meet with senior engineers, receive direct feedback, and collaborate with traders and colleagues across teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/CE, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and that graduation is December 2027 or

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in CS/CE.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong work ethic and quick learner.
• Graduation date Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Familiar with C++, Python, or TypeScript.
• Interest in markets and how software supports them.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of C++ based trading applications and tools.
• Work on hands-on projects contributing to daily firm activities.
• Regular sessions with senior engineers covering fundamentals of systems and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, traders, and other teams on impactful projects.
