You’ll learn by doing on projects scoped to the team’s needs, tackle challenges in performance, reliability and scalability, and collaborate with engineers, traders and business teams to ship quality software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• On track to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Passionate about writing clean code and building well-architected systems.

Responsibilities

• Deep dive into trading fundamentals, AI-enabled tools, and cutting-edge technology.
• Collaborate with engineers, traders, and business teams to develop and ship code to production.
• Address real-world problems to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Mentored by Optiver engineers to learn full-time software engineering practices.
