Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Consultant for the Rebalancing and Model Management Trading Support Desk to provide high-quality trading support to financial advisors. You’ll help ensure reliability of systems, assist with rebalancing, and train advisors to maximize tool usage.

You will handle inbound calls, demonstrate capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs. The role requires strong communication and a client-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

2-5 years of financial services experience.
1+ years of customer service or call center experience.
Knowledge of mutual funds, equities, and options.
Knowledge of trading regulations and requirements.
Series 7 preferred.
Experience with Jira project management software and QA/UAT testing is a plus.
Background or experience in agile project management, public speaking, coaching, and talent development is a plus.
Microsoft Office skills required.
Experience with trading, rebalancing, model management, CRM, or financial services platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides system support and guidance to advisors regarding our systems, including model management, rebalancing functionality, and block trading tools.
Maintains knowledge of equity, option, ETF, and mutual fund products, markets, and the impact and execution of large trades; knowledge of two trading system capabilities and rebalancing methodologies.
Masters all aspects of the systems to educate and consult advisors on best use to achieve objectives with strong customer service.
Assists with 20-35 inbound calls a day.
Supports Volume Contingency Plan by training and supporting Equity and/or Mutual Fund Trading as needed.
Works with Business Transition Partners to showcase Enhanced Trading capabilities to prospective advisors and help train onboarding.
Supports advisor-facing virtual demos, educational workshops around key functionality, and collaboration with Technology and agile project teams.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
