Job summary

Facet is seeking a Trading Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you won’t just be pushing trade orders in the background—you will serve as the trusted trading Subject Matter Expert (SME) who speaks directly with members and financial planners.

You will guide members through complex trading discussions, educate them on order types, trade scenarios, tax implications, and portfolio adjustments, and help them navigate market transactions with confidence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in client-facing trading support or investor services.
• Solid understanding of equity/ETF trading, option strategies, cost basis methods, tax‑loss harvesting.
• Experience with OMS and custodial platforms.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial CRM/ticketing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth trading guidance and education to members.
• Educate on brokerage features, tax implications, and IRA guidelines.
• Resolve high-velocity inquiries on order status and trade discrepancies.
• Collaborate with CFPs to align trades with holistic plans.
• Support trade workflows across custodians and monitor rebalancing.
• Identify process improvements and participate in platform rollouts.
