SR Staffing invites applications for a Trading Operations Manager in Houston to optimize natural gas movement, scheduling and transportation across pipelines. The role works closely with commercial and trading teams to ensure accurate data and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have Gulf Coast market experience, strong ETRM skills, and a track record of process improvements within a fast-paced energy environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in natural gas scheduling, transportation or commercial operations.
• Strong knowledge of Gulf Coast markets and pipeline systems.
• Experience with nominations, confirmations, allocations and imbalance management.
• Familiarity with interstate and intrastate pipeline operations.
• Experience with EBB platforms and pipeline operators.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily natural gas scheduling activities across interstate and intrastate pipelines.
• Submit and monitor nominations, confirmations, allocations, and transportation activity.
• Coordinate directly with pipeline operators and Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs).
• Monitor and manage imbalances while ensuring accurate gas movement and optimization.
• Support natural gas supply operations related to storage, transportation, and LNG demand requirements.
• Maintain accurate trade and scheduling data within ETRM and operational systems.
• Perform volume reconciliation, position validation, and operational reporting.
• Support settlements, invoicing, and contract administration activities.
• Collaborate with commercial, trading, risk, accounting, and operational teams to ensure data integrity.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and technology enhancements.
