Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York, NY is seeking an Executive Director for the Investment Platform Trading Research team to design and implement advanced research projects, optimize the trading platform, and deliver actionable analytics.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with traders, portfolio managers, and engineers to develop robust execution strategies, TCA dashboards, and ML-enhanced models.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python programming with data analysis libraries and visualization tools.
• Experience with large financial data sets, tick data, and market data analysis.
• Background in market-making, statistical arbitrage, or systematic trading.
• Ability to translate quantitative findings into actionable trading insights.
• Knowledge of market microstructure across equities, fixed income, FX or derivatives.
• Experience with collaborative software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement research projects using market data to identify signals and optimize execution.
• Collaborate with traders to enhance systematic trading platforms with statistical models and ML.
• Provide execution consultancy to traders, PMs, and researchers for optimal strategies.
• Create dashboards and tools to measure TCA, market impact, and slippage, with scheduled reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects with traders, PMs, and technology teams to implement analytics solutions.
