We’re hiring a Trading Production Engineer in New York to join a leading quantitative trading firm and help keep critical trading technology running smoothly throughout the U.S. trading day.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to production — investigating issues, improving reliability, automating manual processes, and working with engineers to solve problems quickly.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a sophisticated trading environment, gaining exposure to systems, data, market connectivity, and the technology behind quantitative strategies.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Systems Operations, Trade Support, or a similar environment
• Strong Python, Linux, and shell scripting skills
• Experience troubleshooting production systems and diagnosing failures
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, automation, and production workflows
• A structured approach to incident response and problem-solving
• Confidence working independently while knowing when to escape complex issues
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Experience in electronic trading or financial markets is a plus, but not essential
