Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking a Trading Operations AVP in Dallas to lead equities settlement and the broader trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes. You will partner with trading desks, back office, and technology to resolve settlement issues, drive process improvements, and maintain high client service standards.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with settlement platforms like DTC/NSCC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trading operations, equities settlement, or middle-office functions.
SIE preferred; FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end equities settlement processes including trade booking, confirmation, matching, fails, and resolution.
Monitor and remediate equity settlement failures using DTC, NSCC, and other clearing platforms; escalate aged fails.
Ensure timely affirmation and confirmation of equity trades with brokers and counterparties.
Perform daily reconciliation of equity positions, cash, and market values across internal and external records.
Process and track corporate actions such as dividends, splits, mergers, and spin-offs.
