Scotiabank is seeking an experienced Settlement Operations Leader in Dallas to manage end-to-end U.S. Domestic Equities and Fixed Income settlement activities within DTC.

You will partner with Operations, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Front Office to deliver high-quality settlement outcomes while maintaining a strong control environment. The role emphasizes people leadership, process improvement, and regulatory compliance across a broad product set, including equities and fixed income

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years of securities settlement operations across DTC eligible securities, equities and fixed income.
• Experience leading complex, regulated environments with strong controls and audits.
• Strong understanding of DTC, CNS, RTTM, OW, Broadridge, triparty funding, margining, corporate actions and liquidity management.
• Proven ability to partner with Front Office, Treasury, Risk, and Technology to deliver change.
• Experience leading teams, developing talent and driving performance transformation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily U.S. Domestic Equities and Fixed Income DTC settlement activity, including Buy-ins and ACATs.
• Ensure accurate and timely settlement across a complex product set (equities, bonds, ADRs/ORDs, 144A/Reg S, collateralized trades).
• Manage full settlement lifecycle: trade settlement, affirmation, custody requirements, triparty funding, and cash movements.
• Lead risk, controls, and regulatory adherence within Operational Risk Management Framework.
