Job summary

Alexander Chapman Ltd, a venture-backed fintech firm providing core institutional market access, is expanding its trading operations team. You will serve as the operational anchor for institutional clients, handling complex order flows, ensuring platform reliability, and supporting trade settlement.

This role combines client management, surveillance, and technical execution, offering exposure to equities, options, digital assets, and fixed income, with opportunities to influence product tooling

Qualifications

• 2 to 3+ years of experience in brokerage operations, equity trading desks, or financial services trade support.
• Solid understanding of equity market mechanics, order handling workflows, and FIX protocol messaging.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensing is required (or a commitment to pass licensing exams within the first six months).
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional partners on order routing, execution breaks, OMS, and FIX sessions.
• Monitor active order flow and execution quality to ensure best practices and market integrity.
• Coordinate downstream trade administration and corporate action processing to ensure clean portfolios.
• Partner with engineering, product, and compliance to relay client feedback.
• Enforce internal controls and regulatory frameworks across all trade processing.
• Provide coverage aligned with core operational hours (EST).
