Job summary

Wolverine Trading, LLC in Chicago seeks a Trading Operations Associate to support multiple trading groups, reconcile trades, and improve automation. You will collaborate with traders, finance, engineering, and external partners to ensure smooth daily activity, accurate books, and scalable processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with SQL.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trading operations and liaison among trading teams, clearing firms, exchanges, Finance, and Engineering.
• Monitor and reconcile trades, positions, cash, and clearing activity; investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance to maintain books and support reconciliations and data flow to reporting.
• Work with Engineering to automate and improve operational processes and controls.
• Coordinate with external partners to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
• Identify exceptions in critical processes and coordinate cross-team resolutions.
• Support corporate actions, lifecycle events, and cost allocation related to operations.
• Document procedures to reduce manual work and strengthen controls.
