Trading Operations Specialist

A rapidly growing proprietary trading firm is seeking a highly motivated Trading Operations Specialist to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experts in trading, engineering, and quantitative research as the firm expands into new global markets. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support the firm’s automated trading systems to ensure smooth and reliable execution across global exchanges
• Investigate and resolve real-time trading issues in coordination with internal teams, exchanges, and clearing partners
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve internal systems and develop monitoring tools
• Automate operational workflows using scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash) to streamline processes
• Assist in new market rollouts, including infrastructure testing and connectivity validation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a trading support, operations, or market risk role within financial services
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and familiarity with command-line tools
• Strong working knowledge of Python, Jupyter, and SQL for automation and analysis
• Solid understanding of market data, order flows, and electronic exchange protocols
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure
