Job summary

WhiteWater, an Austin-based natural gas infrastructure company, is seeking an entry-level analyst to support gas scheduling and settlements in our Austin office.

You will maintain records of contractual gas exchanges, nominate gas receipts and deliveries on interstate pipeline EBBS, and coordinate invoice creation, reconciliation, and settlement. Ideal for a May 2028 graduate with strong Excel and analytical thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree candidate, preferably a May 2028 grad.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, critical and economical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, grasp complex issues, as well as pay strict attention to details.

• Provide support for gas scheduling functions: generation and maintenance of accurate records related to contractual exchange of natural gas between market participants.
• Nomination of gas receipt and delivery on interstate pipeline electronic bulletin boards (EBBs).
• Communication with third parties to minimize disruptions to the flow of gas.
• Gas settlements: invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation, and settlement of physical and financial natural gas transactions.
• Coordination with counterparties to resolve invoice reconciliation discrepancies via collaboration with trading and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the following critical business functions:
• Gas Scheduling
  • Generation and maintenance of accurate records related to the contractual exchange of natural gas between market participants
  • Nomination of gas receipt and delivery on interstate pipeline electronic bulletin boards (“EBBs”)
  • Communication with third parties to minimize disruptions to the flow of gas
• Gas Settlements
  • Invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation, and settlement of physical and financial natural gas transactions
  • Coordination with counterparties to resolve invoice reconciliation discrepancies proactively and timely via collaboration with trading and scheduling
