Job summary

Sunrise Commodities, a premier importer of nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and snack products, seeks a Trading Operations Coordinator in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. You will support the Trading team by ensuring accurate contract execution, supplier communication, documentation, and shipment coordination.

This hybrid, on-site role requires 1–3 years in trading or logistics, proficiency with Excel and ERP systems, and strong problem solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in trading, logistics or related support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP familiarity a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; multitasking ability.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain contracts in trading system with accuracy.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and inventory alignment.
• Prepare supplier/customer documentation including QA docs.
• Investigate and resolve product discrepancies with suppliers and teams.
• Coordinate samples and follow up on new opportunities.
• Monitor commodity trends to aid sourcing and sales decisions.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance workflows.
• Collaborate with traders, QA, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
