Job summary

Trillium is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to ensure the firm’s trading infrastructure operates smoothly. You will act as the bridge between traders and the tech team, resolving real-time issues and managing trader workstations.

On-site in Midtown NYC, you will configure new workstations, audit performance, and support trading floor logistics while assisting with proprietary trading applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CIS, CS, or related field.
• Experience in tech support or IT help desk is a plus.
• Ability to triage and resolve issues under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for trader technical inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and escalate IT-related issues affecting traders and staff.
• Assemble and configure new trader workstations, including hardware and software installation.
• Maintain and regularly audit system performance across trader machines.
• Manage trading floor logistics, including seating chart updates and workstation relocations.
• Maintain and update records in the internal ticketing system for issue resolution.
• Attend Feature Prioritization meetings to contextualize trader issues.
• Provide troubleshooting and escalation support for proprietary trading applications.

The Role

Trillium is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to help ensure the firm’s trading infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently. This individual will serve as a critical link between traders and the technical support team, helping to resolve real-time issues, manage equipment and workstations, and support core systems that keep our trading operations running at peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for trader technical inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses
• Troubleshoot and elevate IT-related issues affecting traders and staff
• Assemble and configure new trader workstations, including hardware and software installation
• Maintain and regularly audit system performance across trader machines
• Manage trading floor logistics, including seating chart updates and workstation relocations
• Maintain and update records in the internal ticketing system for technical issue resolution
• Attend Feature Prioritization meetings to provide context on trader issues and support prioritization
• Provide troubleshooting and escalation support for proprietary trading applications

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage and resolve technical issues under pressure
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems and desktop support best practices
• Comfortable interacting with end users in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Prior experience in a tech support, IT help desk, or operations role preferred
• Exposure to trading or financial services environments a plus
• Bachelor Degree in IT, CIS, CS, or related-area

Location

On-Site Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm EST in Midtown NYC

Compensation and Perks

• The reasonably estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 + Additional Bonus/Pay Structure if applicable. Actual compensation is based on a number of factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
