Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York City seeks a Middle Office Operations professional to provide support to traders and portfolio managers with trade execution, order management, allocations, bookings, and lifecycle processing. You will monitor activity, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate settlements.

Ideal candidates have 3-6 years in middle office operations with knowledge of Credit, Equities, Derivatives, and Options, and a collaborative approach

Qualifications

• 3-6 years middle office operations experience.
• Product knowledge of Credit, Equities, Derivatives, Options.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to traders and portfolio managers, assisting with trade execution, order management, allocations, bookings, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Monitor trading activity, positions, and P&L throughout the day, proactively identifying discrepancies, breaks, and execution issues and working directly with traders to resolve them.
• Manage the trade lifecycle from execution through settlement, coordinating with brokers, counterparties, prime brokers, and internal Operations teams to ensure trades are accurately captured and settled.
• Support portfolio and trading activity, including cash and position monitoring, corporate actions, financing activity, and other time-sensitive events impacting the portfolio.
• Serve as a key liaison between the trading desk and internal teams, including Operations, Risk, Technology, and Finance, while identifying opportunities to improve trading workflows, controls, and desk efficiency.
